How do I test to see if it’s the problem? Good fuel supply getting to it. The mower runs for a minute or so and then dies. Leave it for a couple of

minutes and try again and it runs for another minute. I suspect this fuel pump isn’t replenishing the carb bowl quickly enough.

I'd take the bowl off the carb and check the float valve isn't blocked 1st. Is the carb fitted with a solenoid to shut off the fuel supply?.

 

If fuel is getting to it without gravity it's probably working, but if it's got nowhere to go it'll just sit there like a plugged sink.
