Wood for a tree house

Hello all,

I am planning to make a tree house for my children using cut trees, ideally 6-7 inches thick and 6 foot long. Does anyone know where I can purchase these? I don't want to use industrial timber because it will not look 'natural'. Any suggestions will be welcome.

Thank you

Our bespoke fencing is hand made to order using sustainable English woodland materials. We use a variety of woods...

Another option would be larch cladding maybe

6-7 inch chestnut could cost around £12 - £20 each? What about peeled softwood fencing postsbefore its treated(children involved?) and they’ll be regular size for stacked? Just get some treated ones for the bottom layer. Presume your going to build it Davy Crockett style?
