Random Orbital Sanders

So what sanders are you all using ,we have an expensive Mirka with its own hoover but as it was so so expensive we tend to keep it for flat sanding only we have had other sanders from Makita to Flex for contor sanding and going round corners etc and all of them just dont last ,we need a new one so we poped into our local tool shop Blandford Tools and they are nice guys in there but he just didnt have any orbital sanders he was saying that he just cant get good quality at any kinda ok price I know ebay is full of sanders but I thought I would ask to see what people were using and what people thought were Crap as always keen to hear what everyone has to say .

Seem to have accumulated a 'fleet' of different sanders over the years.

 

Half-sheet, detail, belt etc.

 

Use a Bosch Orbital sander - GEX 150AC that is brilliant.  Built like a tank.  With Mirka sanding discs it's very effective.

 

The GEX 125 might be a better bet for more detailed work?

Dunno if you have a  decent compressor but heard that puematic ones are more durable.
