Hi all,

I'm just wanting any advice or contacts for working in Australia, I'm hoping to go out January 2024 and work for around a full year. I will of been climbing for two years by then and hoping to get a climbing position out there which I think will be massively beneficial for me and my career progression. I was looking at somewhere on the East coast Queensland/new south wales. Any advice, contacts or (hopefully) any company out there that might be interested or anything really would be massively appreciated!

My email is [email protected]

many thanks for reading this !

My nephew is out there at the moment.

Plenty of jobs (for now)

You should be more proactive, contact the companies direct, don’t just sit there waiting for the world to beat a path to your door.

Yeh I have seen there are a fair few jobs kicking about and I’m certainly not waiting for “the world to beat a path to my door” - as I said I’m just looking for anyone that has any advice or something useful to say about avoiding pitfalls of the process or good company’s to work for ect.

Anyone thinking of working in Qld be reminded this year and last has been brutal! 32c in the shade, non stop rain and horrendous humidity...

Yeah, in-laws said it was brutal. My nephew is looking at getting into tree cutting. He's climbing ok now. Says he's climbing with his backpack water .
