Just joined this thread and jumped from page 3 to the end as I have not enough time to read it all, blades to sharpen and vans to wash. I have two big pines to section fell next week but I would love to be part of the stunt fell club but before I do it and I add my pic for you all to laugh at can I use a rope for it to qualify? I might even show you all what a real breakfast looks like, French style ha ha

Opinions are split on the rope issue. By the way, if that's you in your avatar you might want to do some work on your pecs before pulling any ropes. :biggrin:

Here is my initial offering, a Blue Spruce our groundsman Nick felled.

:thumbup1:

Nothing special but it still had the brush on when it was felled, it was a good 70ft tall. The tips just brushed the trees on the other side of the garden and he avoided the small trees either side of the tree that were staying.:thumbup:

Totally dead pine Bark falling off it the works, Climbed half way up hoping to nock it over in two sections got. to where it forks out and was starting to peel away at the fork. So attached my rope got my brand new ms660 out to test her out and hay presto 0.5meter of the house. Missed the clients decked and both shrubs on each side good job well done :thumbup:
