Both saws seem to be running at about 80-90%. Seems odd to say but I can just feel it. they were both brought brand new and had a couple months work but due to circumstances they had to be stored away for about year and a half. the tanks were emptied and run out. Before i start messing to much with them to find the problem, i was going to start off by replacing the fuel lines, filters and carb diaphragm. this is me guessing that maybe small amount of fuel stayed in the tanks/lines and maybe ruined those parts. Just wondering if this sounds about right to start off with or if i should check anything else first. they are getting used daily now and still work well enough but like i said i can just feel its not to the full capacity. new chains so not because its blunt, also have done the reset and didn't make much difference.

TIA

I would fry new fuel filters and use a bit of carb/brake cleaner and air line on the air filters first. Most don't clean or understand how important a clean air filter is.

The saws will loosen up a bit with use - 2 months use isn't really enough.

Yup. Got a km94 power unit in from a pro user. Says it wont stay running and not revving up. Says he keeps changing the plug for new every other week. Will work for a week or so them back to square one. I took the plug out and was oiled up to boogery despit only a fortnight old. Checked the paper air filer and contaminated with oil fuel mix and crud. New filter and cleaned up the plug and away it went. Was running so rich with the clogged filter and was oiling the plug up.
