How to make these slab offcuts thinner

Bear in mind that you are re-sawing (presumably) fully dried boards.  This is very different to milling logs which will never be dry.  I am not saying don’t try it, but the timber will be inherently much harder than if it were a log, so more likely the blade will wander.

That makes sense, I have thicknessed a fair amount of material off of some of these boards though so I'm confident I'll be able to bring them back to flat if the cut isn't the best👍
