i cant comment on pfanner trousers as never had them - but i wear my arbortect type As (breathflex pros) nearly everyday/climbing and on the ground and cant fault them the kevlar/protective outer coating on the legs are very robust survived a few hits with a silky and not even marked them, also embers off a fire( drying out after a long wet day) and that didn't even damage them which i was surprised about. hope this helps

my pfanner arborists feel bulkier than the arbortecs when moving around. outer layer feels more robust though.

breatheflex pro better than the basic ones, if youre flush splash out for the legacy, its a better feel of fabric on skin than the 'ripstop' (hahaha yeah right) on the basic ones

i prefer the stihl xflex over the arbortec breatheflex though.

hinges on what youre doing i think, and budget.
