Burt BC1000XL

I posted this on facebook, but thought I would add it here as different crowd.

 

Any one interested in our "slightly" singed BC1000XL. Its a 2014 model, 550 hours.  £64K + VAT if you wanted to order one in 2023.

It was damaged by a fire in a container next to it. It was never actually on fire itself.

 

Vermeer provided a report for the insurance but there are some pretty big ticket items on that list that I don't think are needed to get the machine operational. There might be other issues but we cannot test it in this state.

 

We would be interested in part exchanging it for another chipper preferably tracked if any dealers are interested drop me a message.

Interested to know what general people think its worth so feel free to discus but if you have an actual offer please email it.

Did you buy it back from the insurance then? There’s your starting point.

Currently in negotiations with insurance. So trying to figure out if it's worth buying from them.

I would certainly say they has gone over the top with quote to repair but that's how they work no point repairing stuff just replace it. If you can get it cheap and repair it yourself to get it running would be worth a go.
