Hi we are looking at updating our a328 pto jenson chipper and just wondering what others would recommend ref different brands etc? Spoke to a few dealers but they are not that keen on giving a demo as they are struggling with stock themselves. TIA 👍

Depends on what species you chip the most of? Are you hand or crane feeding it?

WIll be hand fed mostly. But do fed with a digger occasionally. 60% conifer

How much horsepower are you going to put through it? TP chippers are solid as are the bandits. Use to run a bandit 150xp on a 90hp valtra.

 Tractor is 100hp.

I really only have experience with a Farmi CH260. Its solid and simple but its shite on Spruce if that means anything to you. Cypresses it should power through ok.

I bought a Greenmech 220tmp at the beginning of the year,DSC_0032.thumb.jpg.47e55dc45024d88b573f8423f3a3db23.jpg can't fault it chipping conifers started off running it on a Fendt 304 now running it on a Vaultra 6400.

Only trouble we have is keeping it fed by hand. The bit in picture is about 7inches across butt end and 20 ft long.
