Hi iv just bought a Farmi wp30 masterspliter I’m thinking of fitting a 15hp petrol engine on it to free of my tractor. Any one got any tip .hock

I’d plan to use belts and pulleys. Following with interest.

Is it worth the hassle? I am sure you could sell you existing one for good money and just buy a WP36 with the engine already installed. Saw one for sale just yesterday

Then you will need a bigger engine to cover all the losses in a gearbox, belts / pullies.

 

Better to fit higher rpm pumps direct to the end of the engine. Mounts are stock items ect ect.

More to go wrong.

 

The benifit of hydraulic is no belts & pullies.

Get someone with one to give you the part numbers on the pumps.

 

Failing that look for pumps that run at 2800-3000rom with the correct flow & pressure rates.
