That makes cranes look very unsafe

Is most of that caused by overstretching with to much weight

 

I would imagine a high percentage of it would be operator error Nick, just as you say. Trouble is in tree work, there's no way of weighing a peice before it's cut.

 

Best to be safe and make sure all lifts are done in a way that puts the cutter out of the way of the boom :001_smile:

I recall the "Falling Cranes" Vid being a hoax. The first in is for real however the green crane is photoshopped.
