I see crocky is   asking £1000 for a new 7900 on ebay that were a bargin @ about 500 quid new a few years back on radmore and tucker

Yeah I spoke to someone about this recently. £500 was a bargain. I can do some slightly better prices off eBay but unfortunately not that cheap.

Kind of hoping some other company  might take over making petrol models when makita stops?

I was hopeful they would sell the Dolmar brand off. I think in reality they haven't invested in enough new chainsaw models over the last 10 years so got a bit left behind.
