Best grass head for Stihl FS 461?

What would be the best head for this machine and grass?

I have 17 small water pump sites that are cut once a month.

What is the most effective and efficient head for this job ?

Opinion will be divided on this one ! I like the Oregon Jet Fit heads with 3.00mm or 4.00mm square line made by Diamond extrusion .  Some people prefer thinner line with a bump feed head .

On grass, Oregon jet-fit and 3mm flexiblade line takes some beating imho. Just use two pieces in a 4 way head keeps the line speed up[emoji106]

Someone who does the same as me ! Also soak the line in a bucket of water . nylon is hygroscopic and absorbs water making it less brittle .

The plastic cone pissadears after a short time . Not worth bothering with . Its a 4 way head but with only  2 lines in the lower slots . using a 4 way head keeps the nut under flush so you don't dig in .

There is no argument here. Get a tap-n-go head. You won't have to stop to change the cord. You won't have to cut the cord. Your cord will always be exactly the right length, or nearly so.
