He does not mention the AA, it reads:-

X.X Tree services

certified arborist to carry out all aspects of tree work

Oh:confused1::confused1: You could call yourself King arborist if you wanted but by not putting AA cert arb etc. Nought can be done.

Yep or the courts but as i've been saying your going to have to prove it, thats the hard bit. IMO its like, well how many tree companys say 'complete tree care' on thier website, side of van, cards? Techincally thats as bad as someone ripping your mission statement off.

My word this is hard work.

Yes proving it is hard, but lets say you prove it completely,WHO is going to physically stop them????

Sorry:blushing: it would be a police issue once evidence is collected and all other channels have been exhausted. As its breach of a trademark, copywright but if its not registered as one theres nothing you can do as far as im aware. I have tried telling you my link would of explained it better.

I dont think the police would get involved in any way to actually stop them as the issue is a civil not criminal matter. If they repeatedly went against court judgements i suppose the police may get involved but by this time we will probably all have retired so whats the point.

I had an my entire services page copied by another company it did piss me of as i went to the effort of writing it all myself and they just copied the whole page exact layout etc.

It dont really matter tho

The only problem is see is if they are a bad company people could associate it with yours if they use the same wording etc.

The boss of McDonalds UK was once asked if he got annoyed with everyone else copying their ideas. He said, " Not really, we just come up with new stuff faster than they can copy."

It pissed me off last week. I've since been on holiday and I couldn't care less now. If some one wants to copy what were doing, I'll take it as a compliment. It just shows a lack of imagination to rip off stuff from someone less than a mile away when there are 1000s of firms out there to copy from.
