As some of us will or have  switching to white diesel in machinary thought it would be worth starting a thread on problems found doing it.

First one I have found is with Timberwolf 150 towable no good undoing drain plug as there's a upstand for bung which is over an inch high. So landed up taking plate off were filler is  and pumping it out and cleaning it that way.

I just started putting white in instead of red, no issues.

What problems do you envisage?

Ps, on a 150 you can remove the tank easily enough for cleaning.

That's if you want to move hydraulic tank forward and remove hopper

I used to do it on my 2003, a bit of wiggling and twisting but it comes out of the frame the filler cap end.

Never moved the tank or took hopper off.

From reading the AA guidance,  do you have to run on white? They liken Arboriculture to Horticulture in practice and that is unaffected by the change.

Ok, mine had the plastic tank as well.

Maybe some models had a slightly bigger tank or something.

I know it was a conundrum, you had to turn it a certain way and twist and pull or something, but once you had the knack it was doable.
