Stihl ms200t crank seals

Hi all, I'm replacing the seals on my ms200t 2004

Can anyone tell me what the code is for new seals or if there is a better seal to fit other than OEM ones?

I think you will find the small ms260 (flywheel side) fits and the 200t has the same both sides.

 

there better imho, and iirc spud has recommended these in the past.

You can see the part numbers in the pic's

Number 17 is the 260 & number 3 is the 200

and you can see they are the same dimensions

Thanks I did notice this when I had a look but wasn't sure if they fitted

The original seals are very fragile and are easily fractured. I use a decent quality seal from my bearing supplier as they pop in much easier and don't break.

I've ordered the 9640 003 1190 seals so I'll give them a go first
