Mum number two on the job. Six fertile eggs under her. Start the clock. 21 days. 1st August.

Six hens and the two chicks (genders unknown).

Six eggs incubating. 50% success rate last time. Three this time would be excellent and take the flock to eleven, one more than I started with in December. Would make this my most successful business venture to date.

External stimulus. My mate does. Get the fertile eggs from him. Hoping one of the chicks is male. Borne from an outside egg. Won't be incest the first time round.
