200t/020 pricesHi,

Hi,

 

Ive been looking at getting either a 200t or a o20 for light pruning work etc and Ive been offered a complete fair to good running 020 for €180.

 

How does that sound to you lot? Ive heard of 200ts but rairly a 020.

Really depends on how much work its done. If its got good compression then it is a fair price. would help if you knew the history, is the owner a proffesional tree surgeon? Why is he getting rid? If you are only going to use it now and again then buy it.

personally i would not touch it and buy new ,but then it depends what you are using it for.. imo 200ts should be replaced yearly or every two years if you can do minor repairs as there work load for an average tree surgeon would be a minimum of 2 tanks of fuel a day...they get used harder than any other saw..

020's r very old now would be hard to find a good one ...for the price of new cylinder and rings and work done at a saw shop another £100 and you have a brand new saw!
