Not you fella, I was talking about day rates in London recently, someone said I was talking rubbish when I said £400/day in London.

Not every day though - sounds like this guy is desperate and this is a one-off job to me. 
There are often big-money days to be had up and down the country. It’s uncommon for them to be the norm though - you need to do a lot of running around to take advantage of them and there is no guarantee of another tomorrow…

I wonder how common CSCS is for an arborist to hold, I don't have it myself.

CSCS - It is very common if you work or have worked in Construction sites or for clients who request it.

 

Eggs, of course 400 quid a day is achievable in London.  But every day, 5 days a week, I doubt it.

 

Project or specific high risk jobs or crane work it is doable.  But you don’t do that every single working day.

How often do you need to work on £400/day, two weeks that is being offered is £4K! I would take the next month or so off unless someone called me.
