id probably keep it if it was my tree,  looks like a sod to climb though and as a result will probably end up being reduced harder rather than lighter.

Chestnut will coppice well from maiden trees at this size. Unfortunately these trees where on a nature reserve that was being managed for Lowland Heath so they never got the chance to regenerate. A mulcher went through an followed us up after extraction
