Why when companies are advertising for staff do they say, "clean driving license", I can understand the age bit (21/25) but I've never known an insurance company/underwriter to charge any more if it was no more than six points?

Badly worded 1it.

I get what you're saying, they want clean licence holders. Interestingly, my job interview yesterday they asked if i had a clean licence, but i think they allow a maximum of 6 points.

Now we've got to the bottom of the question, what is the answer?

Knowing insurance compainies i wouldn't be too surprised if they'd moved the goalposts and started charging more for any points.

Could just be a company requirement that they want clean licences as it means "better" drivers.

Maybe they run their trucks heavy and you need a clean licence for all the points they're gonna get you. 😂

Don’t speed? 🤷‍♂️emoji16.png

Speeding in a Transit work van, and a 25 year old truck don't belong in the same sentence.

My license is clean, (he says touching wood).

No, I guess they don’t.

Clean license myself though goodness knows how. 🤣

I've thought this too Egg's. I would guess that over half of all driving licence holders do not have a clean licence. That is narrowing down your recruitment options somewhat.
