Sadly (and unsurprisingly) I hate kids, so will have to decline.

I long guessed guessed that was the case.

Anyway, using this machine I've not much choice in the matter.

With our GM150P in the incompetent hands of a French Briggs Efi approved clown, now in it's 11th week with no end in sight.

He won't give it back because he won't get paid.

His latest message says a new loom arrives end of next week which is week 12.

Meanwhile we do what we can by pushing larger jobs back still further and using what we have to hand.

I gave the twunt a 4 week window which even by French 'laissé faire' standards should have been enough.

I arranged 4weeks of hedges, stumps, subbing, wee chipper jobs and some time off.

Laugh if you will, I'm depressed and beyond caring.

Lidl shelf stacking looks more appealing day after day.

I hope this gets right soon. Something like this can put a small guy out of business. It can hurt a big guy too, crews laid off, bills not paid. Good luck.

You have to stop feeling sorry for yourself, blaming others and sort this out.

That’s your job.

With a couple of acres of overgrown woodland do you not have a corner where you can just dump the brash with no need need to chip? Pile it up and once in while run a saw through it to make sit down a bit.

Great for wildlife and your pocket

I do blame the mechanic.

It literally cannot be anyone else.

French law is quite clear in that he has the right of retention whilst money is owed whilst the same time a responsibility to repair within 30 days.

His treatment of me is polite in messages yet abusive in denying me the machine.

How would you sort it?

I'm at a total loss.

I do not know, he avoids my requests for images and is vague with his responses.

I have reached out for legal advice and know that a Gun Ho! visit, rucking up with Komatsu Clive and the Fat Afghan in tow to seize the machine isn't an option.
