Sweep the flies? It's normally soot that people are trying to get rid of. [emoji12][emoji23]

Yes that was a lazy mistake, I should have chain drilled the circles.

That'll look the business once you've painted it black.

In theory there should now be less heat going out into the room that you've got the stove in. I wonder if you'll notice the difference.

I hope so as I swelter in here and could manage with half the output.

Still not burning very little and it’s the end of September, long may it last. Been a bit lazy this year but have enough to do the winter, unless we get a spring like this year.

Joint warmest September on record so far. Unlikely to hold that position with it cooling next week, but will end up as the second warmest on record.
