I need to get some wood from the stacks, split some kindling and sweep the flies.  Hope to not need it for a few weeks yet though 
Sweep the flies? It's normally soot that people are trying to get rid of. [emoji12][emoji23]

Yes that was a lazy mistake, I should have chain drilled the circles.

That'll look the business once you've painted it black.

In theory there should now be less heat going out into the room that you've got the stove in. I wonder if you'll notice the difference.

I hope so as I swelter in here and could manage with half the output.

Joint warmest September on record so far. Unlikely to hold that position with it cooling next week, but will end up as the second warmest on record.
