I'm going to be staying in Doddington, kent from thurs next week for 4 days. Just wondering if any of you know of any nice woods in the area i could pay a visit too.

i remember when you first posted those photo's and commenting on that wooden building. It's amazing and well worth as visit i'm sure.

Brogdale is worth a visit and a stones throw from Doddington. Posh coffee and local produce, best butcher in Kent is there aswell.

cheers for that Mick.....that will come in VERY handy as there are going to be about 30 very hungry people celebrating a 40th birthday.

Check out kings wood in challock about 30 mins drive from you, Blean woods near canterbury, lyminge forest a bit further on or right on your doorstep in doddington area you will find some nice walks too. The george pub in Newnham is great for food and a good pint also a micro brewery in this village called hopdeamon run by a kiwi his incubus ale is one of the best out there.
