Glasses with ear defenders stopping the noise!

I like wearing glasses with my hard hat more so than a mesh visor but find noise is able to reach my ears quite easily where the frame storks go between the ear defender and my ears.

 

I like ear defenders over plugs because their comfortable and keep them warm in the cold winter winds:lol:.

 

Has anyone also found this happens? Or how did you get round it?

 

I looked at the stein hat and kind of thought if i wanted to look like i was a pilot maybe i would of joined the air force....

I have alway worn glasses. I can not say that i have noticed any difference. But then due to my bad eye sight i can not work work safely with out glasses. I like the sordin ear defenders because the padding is softer and more comfortably

I've never had an issue with excessive noise "leakage" wearing glasses and ear defenders, though if I'm on a saw all day full-on cutting I'll pop some plugs in too.

Get some decent plugs mate. I have some from Ultimate ear, custom made, hard work keeps the ears warm
