They are good at chipping conifer, need to be sharp as othes have said. 

The comment I put in your other post, about a conifer hedge it was a 10 day job and about 40t of wood chip all done with a 125 and 1set of blades.

Ahh, that makes sense. I had it for 2 hours and took it back because it just wouldn't work!
