how does folks,

 

just a quick 1, pricing a clear fell site in south wales, its all jap larch, what sort of price per m3 at road side should i be looking at?

 

approx 1500m3 in total, good/easy access for the wagons

 

any idea?

Speak to local woodfuel buyers and the like off TillHill and Euroforest. They will have outlets into local markets. If you are pricing the job the big boys will buy it at roadside for a set price in writing.

to be honest mate i havent got a clue as firewood,

 

havent got the job yet but got to keep trying,

hi i did some larch 3year ago was getting £10 a tonne chiplengths and around £20 for the bars as was young thinnings with no big saw logs ,sell it now as firewood tendency to produce sparks (third grade firewood)
