Where are you getting this "World Beating Hotsaws" thing from, It isn't from me because I don't big myself up, never have, never will, don't need to, not interested.

If it is from my customers, I can't control and have no influence what they write and what views they have. Apparently I am mentioned all over Facebook....I don't even have a Facebook  account:confused1:

I just do stuff customers appear to like....is that wrong?

Cut to the chase....what is the issue?????

No, its still sat with a pile of other dead saws..   that was probably 5 or 10 years ago.. you must have seen 100's of saws since then...

I've found that since the advent of covid, that customers (which in my case are landowners) are very likely to change their minds about just about everything and extremely unreliable. I've had several large jobs disappear at the last minute for ridiculous reasons.

I think that the general uncertainty of things at present is causing many to question their own decisions, and the motives of those working for them. I've heard from other forestry agents that there is a distinct twitchiness amongst woodland owners at the moment.

It's very hard to plan when you can't rely on a job starting when it's supposed to, if at all.

Best ebay them for parts, O84s are still out there and lots of parts are obsolete. Shame it couldn't be sorted...some are like that unfortunately.

Out of interest where are you based? Customers by me have been more and more interested in what's best for the tree/conservation.

I have been thinking about a Microsoft surface or something to take a photo and draw a line etc for prunes to show where it will be cut back to. No disagreements after then. Ofcourse, that doesn't stop the customer coming out and wanting more 🤷🏼‍♂️

North and North West London

I have done that quite a few times which does help but its not a perfect science as I fear we would he held exactly to the shape/cut

Also, here are 2 pics where I tried this on recently. Mine is in red, theirs in yellow.

I sent the red, they sent back the yellow!
