Roller Mower Recommendations

I'm looking for roller mower recommendations around the 21" size give or take.

Have been looking at a few and they all seem to have their good / bad points so interested what people are using and any know issues.

Ones I've looked at with comments I've heard are:

Honda 536 ... doesn't pick up wet grass well

Lawnflite Pros .... gearbox doesn't last and is £300 to replace

Hayter Harrier 56 ... one dealer said lots of plastic now that breaks .... although he wasn't a Hayter Dealer so wondered if it was sour grapes.

Interested in any comments good or bad on any of the above and any others I should be looking at?

We’ve had a Lawnflite for 5 years, used twice a week for around 5-6 hrs.
It’s been excellent. No major parts needed. Would definitely get another one.
TORO also make some reasonable budget/pro mowers around the size you’re after.

Check out weibang...very good collection and nice heavy roller.

Funnily enough a name I'd not heard of before and shortly after starting this thread stumbled across thier name.

I found a dealer that stocked most brands so they'd be relatively impartial and most likely to give a genuine recommendation and they couldn't say enough good things about them.

Kubota. Built to last

Not heard of these but will start doing a bit of research!

Have also come across the Stiga that are more "competitively" priced than some of the others but they have a hybrid Ali/Steel deck which I have some reservations about  .... any ideas how this might compare to a fulll ali deck  ... link below

Self-propelled lawnmower with 163 cc petrol engine suitable for cutting and collecting grass clippings with a supplied 80 litre grass collector.

Yes loads like it with different stickers and boxes coming off the same production lines. It’s ok when it’s a good product like those mowers not so much when it’s crap stuff!
