Thanks everyone, food for thought in all of this. 
 

the main reason I wanted the wider centre cut was to give the farmer a piece back as a kitchen table, he’s a family friend so was doing it as a favour. That being said I’ve a 2ft wide planer thicknesser so even if I halved the centre after I’ve run out of width I could probably get it a nice wide table as a book matched pair. 
 

I’ll have a play with what I have available.

I thought this. I originally made a "NTCP" certificate with tonnes of spelling mistakes but just did this instead then realised that my one comical spelling mistake just made me look dumb 😂

 

I was going to put "Unit 007- Milling- Wood Milling" but got distracted by the space 😂
