Don't think the word got out. Not a single person in our estate was out on their doorstep.
Same here not a soul out apart from myself and one other, couldn't believe it.

How to alienate the Church, increase racialism, increase homophobia  and totally disrespect a fine human being in one easy tweet

The Reverend Jared Robinson Brown who is black and gay responded the the death of Sir Tom by tweeting

”The cult of Captain Tom is a cult of White British Nationalism.  I will offer prayers for the repose of his kind and generous soul, but I will not be joining the “National Clap”

I wonder how the Reverend Thompson would be feeling if the Axis had won?
