Oxy petrol cutting

Got to cut some pipe up anyone used oxy/petrol cutting gear looks good but if it is why don’t more people use it?

Ever filled a trash bag with acetylene? Would rather put a torch to a bag of fuel. My ear drums would be happier 😂

If you have ever had an acetylene bottle on site it’s far more scary

That was my next question as it seems not to work with ethanol mixtures

You can cut up to 300 MM thick which is Lance territory

I saw a reference recently to an Austrian Fire Service document detailing how to shoot Acety cyls with a rifle, presumably better to deal with a jet of burning gas, than an exploding Acety cylinder.

Strange but apparently true!
