Which plunge saw?

Will the prazi fit any circular saw ? Or do they need to be a certain size? This has got me very interested.

I fitted a prazi to a standard skill saw as I had two. They do a couple of different models depending if it is worm drive or not. There website tells you compatability.
Chains are standard, so cheap.
I made a base for my skill saw so it runs on my dewalt guide tracks.
Great tool for cutting curves in beams too.
No oiler but I just spray it a bit while I'm cutting.

Personally I'd go for DeWalt look at the flexivolt if you want battery, it's 18v-54v

I have a 240 makita track saw and its ace a real good bit of kit the only down side is it will only cut 2inch deep I do have a monster of an old makita circular saw but sadly it will not run on the track and they dont make a plate to convert ,I defo would not get rid of my table saw though who ever said that if you have a track saw you dodnt need a table saw is totaly wrong I think .

Just make a plate yourself to convert it. If your not sure how there's plenty of how toos on the net.

I will add this is a good machine but cut rate is way slower that a standard chainsaw in a mini mill. I use this a lot for curves but if I have Slabs to resaw i tend to set up the lucas to do it. If I had a mini mill if probably use that for long straight cuts. If you don't have a big mill like me then the choice is between this and a mini mill. If you have an old circular then this is a cheap, Quite accurate way of dimensioning big Slabs. But if you have a small chainsaw then you could have this and a couple of Rails for the same money.
