Yeah i want it cutting through 10 inch limbs like butter. I hate it when you have to slow down and keep the revs up.

Its a great saw but we would not mod them if they were perfect.

Im off to test my newly modded 200 now so see ya later ill post the comparison between standard new 200t and modded one.

Can we see some video of that test?

It's all down to money. If saws were made to the standards and build quality that we desire the cost would be prohibitive. As it was said ealier in real terms prices have come down. When stuff breaks I just pander my consumerist urges and buy a lovely shinny new one!!

Or we would all be hapier as our saws would last longer and be more reliable. A chain break snapping on site can be a disaster, especially when theres not a standby saw available.

Out side of arb, i buy the best kit I can as I want it to be resilient. In the long term, I find this economical.

I do understand the urge to splurge. That's why I have no money.

ive broken three spouts in a year on the stihl can......broken 4 chain brake handles on an ms200 and two earth wires in the time its taken me to wear out 3 chains on a 1 year old saw!.....the last earth lead went when i was trying to give my groundy some saw experience on raisng a large sycomore......id rather the chain brake had broken than watching him trying to struggle to turn a saw off...when he hasnt got a clue on how to flood it!

THe ms200 in its current guise must of been around for about 15 years i find it amazing they have not ironed out these common faults!
