Read this on another forum about a ebay/paypal con....will do some more research when I get a chance. Basically, if you sell something valuable on  ebay with a post option, bidder wins,  they pay with paypal (plus post) but then collect it in person instead, then a week later, put in a claim to say they have not received the item, ebay/paypal then request for proof of postage, which you cannot produce... then recharge you! To be fair I always ask for cash on collection...but worth taking care....especially if they pay the extra for post then ask to collect....

You just get the buyer to sign for collection whilst having someone film it on their phone .

Thats the issue, they won't accept this as proof under their current conditions...you will need to go to the police...maybe this protects them from sellers and buyers putting in fraudulant claims if working a scam together???

I don’t accept PayPal anymore unless it’s sent as friends and family and always try to pay via PayPal. Been burned far to many times.

One guy shafted me on a GX 390 as he said I missold him it due to being advertised as a 1” shaft and he measured it and it was 25mm ?‍♂️
