Are you getting a lot?

My phone has been red hot this week, each time I eagerly answer it hoping for a job it turns out to be some twonk selling stuff I don't need. I know we all get one now and again but lately its been ridiculous.

Ditto - told some of them to shove off. Been quite rude :blushing:

Me too, been working on the machines this week, nothing more annoying when you're lying under a chipper on a cold concrete floor than having to wriggle all the way out to answer the phone only to get mr Health and safety calendar.

Oh no its that time again! Be very carefull how you answer these calls. They are not anything to do with H&S, Fire Service or Emergency Services. They are cold-calling swindlers. I know because I got caught a couple of years ago. I passed quite a file over to Trading Standards, who since have successfully shut down several operators. If they ask if you're Mr Smith (eg) never answer with yes, simply ask who is calling and hang up. Watch the dial codes, mainly manchester, liverpool and chester areas. If they mention a company they claim to be, check them out at Blagger.com. Be very carefull, the wolves are hungry at this time of year.
