Exactly what sthil said just wasn’t impressed with there service at all especially when under warranty.

They are both good saws. I think the 572 cuts better in hardwoods than the 462, especially with longer bars.
The 572 is a bit heavier but has a solid feel to it, the build quality is great, mine has never dropped a beat.

First use yesterday and struggled to start at first but going to give it a good try this week.

Think the dealer didn’t put enough pressure on to get it resolved ASAP for me and not the first time they been slow to resolve stuff. Hopefully it will be fine now as it was brilliant when first had it.

You think the dealer would want a dodgy saw issue ( esp a new model ) resolved fast - who gonna buy a saw with a bad name ? Husqvarna got ruined with me like that . K

Ive used both over the last 2 or so years the 462 is a 20" bar saw IMHO and would recommend the 572 to running a 24" as its maximum. This is my findings with these saws
