As mentioned before, advertise with local 4x4 clubs for RTV events, perhaps even Camping weekends for groups of like minded people.

I know a few people that would pay a few quid for a weekend to meet up, camp have a small fire and a few beers, perhaps do some off roading and then leave the place clean and tidy.

If you had a set area for camping, with perhaps a fire\BBQ area it could be a nice place.

Where about's in the country?

Woodlands was closed by H&S down due to an accident. Still not open to my knowledge.

Remember that when people are on your land, if they have an accident or cause damage they may well try and sue you. The entry and exit to the sites roads will need to be cleaned after 4x4s throwng up mud out of their large treads (someone may skid on it and sue you). You will need running / pressure washer for them to clean their rads and clutches and somewhere for that water to run too.

You will need a circuit tho, and a route around the more difficult obstacles, or you will end up with a big traffic jam of unhappy offroaders.

But if your keen enough you could make it happen.

what about allowing a local motorcycle trials club to rent the land to hold their trials on 5 acres would be plenty of space and you would not have to do any think they would set it up run the trial and then pack up. trials is also quiet so normally no one complains

we run standard trials tyres so don't rip up the ground so much

and don't have to clear trees as we ride round them and over them.

if you want more info I would contact the acu or have a look on line for the nearest trials club.

just my thoughts

If you tell me where the woods are I can give you a list of the surrounding clubs which you could then ring to see if they are looking for land (most are as we get bored riding the same land).

also you could look on the acu website Trials News

or other motorcycle trials websites and watch some videos on youtube for more info.
