Do anyone else find nails in the ash pan but i am only burning virgin wood just goes to show.

How very dare you i only burn logs. Does not help when all the past estate workers fix all fencing to trees. We felled a dead oak last year with the park fence in the middle of it:thumbdown:

Yep I know exactly what you say found this with metal detector and missed it thankfully !!! the timber was incorporated into a green oak timber framed workshop and garage with the stained wood and offending item used as a feature
