Do you know what crane it was?. I know one of the drivers who moved the trains after the kings cross crash......2 libherrr 1000tonners for that.

You're absolutley correct I'm affraid...

 

I've spent the whole day on stand-by.

 

Tomorrow I'm to go back, and should be taking a light enginge to clear the track of fallen trees with a view to getting the line re-opened.

Something different though, even without tree work. Its not every day that you get that close to a train crash. (not sure i would WANT to, but interesting nonetheless.)

The two green coloured cranes pictured are Leibherr (spelling?) 500 tonners.

The two rail cranes pictured are 75 tonners..

 

There is a 1200t crawler crane coming in to lift the engine!
