Hand cutter looking for work.

Currently looking for work, ideally within Kent but more than happy to travel.
Cross Cutting and Maintenance, Felling up to 380mm, Felling over 380mm, first aid.

Own saws, PPE, and transport.

Experience in felling both hardwoods and softwoods, oversized Ash and Sweet Chestnut, Ash dieback, cutting to spec, presenting for extraction etc.
Also had experience driving 30 ton excavators on building sites with a mixture of buckets and rakes, tractors with cranes and other attachments, telehandlers.

Perhaps you could try your local Euroforest harvesting manager. One of their contractors may be looking.

I've spoken with Euroforest, they're moving away from handcutters and towards haversters because of health and safety. Thanks though.

Have you just spoke to someone in a office ? they will always need hand cutters as machines cant do it all, Edge trees, big trees inside and there is always a few on steep out of reach bankings where the machine cant get to,

I spoke to the general manager for the South East who put me in touch with the harvesting area manager, spoke to him and he took my number but said they're moving away from hand cutters to more mechanised felling.
