Stihl 201 TC running poorly

It always amazes me how little some know about the kit that powers their income.....It is an Mtronic saw, the three position switch and little cover in front of the oil cap shows this....glad I asked.

A few things worth checking, probably the solenoid is the issue.....just find out where it is and change it. Worth checking the gauze strainer in the carb and swapping the spark plug.

If it isn't these things then take it in to a decent tech.

Luckily this isn’t powering my income! 
Thanks for your advice though, know a decent tech in Gloucestershire?
