If you combine the kelly kettle or the wood berner with the diablo, then you have the ultimate go anywhere drink/ hot snack combo.

The Diablo

Current fav to ward off the cold is chees and onion, followed by nutella and banana.

i agree, wouldnt it be cheaper and quicker to just take a flask or 2:confused1:

Its as much a morale booster as just a cuppa tea, a kelly will boil up in the time you take to grab a butty, you have a little fire that all men just love to warm their hands over, its a primitive thing in a way. In this pre-packaged, every thing microwaved day and age, its nice to do something "proper"

My brother bought me one of these for by Birthday a couple of years ago:Woodgas | Camping stoves

Trouble with the kelly kettle is its only good for boiling water, although it is great that and its a bit big.

make a metal stand that hold a pan over the chimney, fry up as well:thumbup:

did you get 2:001_tt2::confused1::thumbup:

No, i am useless and clicked submit twice then couldn't work out how to delete the second one:001_rolleyes:

A cunning second use of the chimney though!

A friend of mine once told me that someone left the cork on when boiling and the cork expanded and the kelly kettle exploded!

Not sure how true that is but it would make for an exciting cuppa.
