Nothing new here, but I had the chance to shoot the fine old Oak in post 1, from a different angle today.

 

A birds eye perspective is a blessing, we Arbs are a lucky few.

 

 

The scaffolding above the Bandstand is there to install a weather vein for the upcoming jubilee, I nipped up to get some shots of the surrounding landscape.

as the title suggests...........

Just bored and thought i would have a look on arb talk and must have missed this thread WOW the pictures of the Quercus are stunning :thumbup: its amazing what you find when you have a look through old threads .

Its a fine line sometimes regarding resurecting old threads, as they're more than often 'done to death'

 

but new members should be given the oportunity to see some of the older 'stuff' imho :thumbup1:

well a tree for a couple of seasons.......

 

drove past this fine plane in the front lawn of someones house in Downham Market this morning.

 

Has anyone worked on this great specimen?

had enough of the heat now.:thumbdown:

 

Would be great if tomorrow turned out to be like it was when we worked on these two veteran wild service trees back in March
