What are these?

These were my late husband's which I'd like to know what they were for as I'm sorting through the garage. He was loler trained so could be to do with that?

Looks like a hole punch set of some sort.

Not directly no , but if you needed to make a new gasket for , say a chainsaw or punch some holes in some leather straps or the like then they could be .....

I’ve always known them as hollow punches, @ Stubby has the use of them above, I also use them for making bolt holes in the rubber guards around the head of stump grinders.

I have the exact same set, the pointer on the big black handle is a sprung loaded centre point, the round punches screw on to the handle, you place the point on the material you want to punch a hole in, you compress the centre point then belt the end of the handle with a mallet.

They are for punching holes in leather, gasket, rubber etc. Useful in making gaskets or circular disks of rubber/leather for gaskets and rudimentary seals etc.

I believe they may be RS Component ones.
