Method Statements

I have been asked to provide a Method Statement for a job......Isn't that just a Risk Assesment, which I already do?

 

If not .....does anyone know where I can find an example of one relating to tree surgery.

It is just as it sounds, a "statement" of the "method" you are going to use to carry out the job.

it is basicaly how you will do job what you will use how you will leave job ect your details inc qualifications

basically a bill of quantities

O Owners occupiers permission and been informed

D Dates

 

S Secure and sign site

T Talk about procedures

A Assess risk

T Tell client

E Exactly what you intend to do

M Methods and machinery to be used

E Every stage repeated

N Nothing left to chance

T Tidy up and go home for tea

I only have a transit and pick-up. But you would be amazed at how many people say they have seen all my trucks around.......I wish:proud:

Get rid of those stubs on a dismantle. They can hurt real bad if you slip
