Yes it is, I ordered one from my dealer as they are totaly hollow, which means no gutting out the muffler :)

the us one are a very easy muffler to mod, I did a euro muffler (pipe) and thier is allot more work to mod them as their is a "middle wall" in them that you have to gutt out to max the flow.

the euro muffler I modded did work just as fine as the us one, but I sold that saw so thats why I did a new one to new 372xpg I bought :)

im guessing you use something like a dremmel for polishing? they are handy bits of kit

i dont really want to do anything to my 020t at the moment but the 192T might be a potential project, my main focus will be my 372xp

ah right thats good to know as i hadnt had the muffler off yet to look at it, so i need to take the internals out then?

If you want to get the most out of your muffler mod you at least need to enlarge existing whole/wholes inside the muffler, best is if you can get rid f the wall inside it.

A dremel and a cordless drill is what I use to mod my mufflers :)

Cheers for the info pete i split my exhaust open last night and see the funnel type exit i drilled my hole exactly where you did right on the bend so it goes straight out from funnel neck.
