Covid 19 and bird nesting

I know it's probably not the most important thing in the scheme of things but do you think the ecologists will have to wind there neck's in this spring since we are effectively loosing the last chance to get stuff cleared and keeping the economy going is more important than possible disturbing a few nests.

 

Might get shot down for this but hey it's been on my mind along with everything else.

I can't see why anything would really change. The environmentals shouldn't change because it's a long term issue in comparison with a 'short term' health pandemic. 

 

Would it really make help to improve the economy, of the country as a whole, to ignore or put aside everything this spring?
