How did you get away with 5% vat, as you are not the end user??????????

 

I did question the company concerned about only paying 5% VAT and was told their accountant had checked it out. I do agree with you as I'm not the end user, but hey, I'm not complaining

From what I beleive, if they are ever made to pay the full back-dated VAT rate it will fall on them to pay it!

will have to put our prices up, as we had only been selling at £50 cube for seasoned hardwood!

 

Really thats is cheap, most people are selling the builders dumpy type bags (often called 1tonne bags, but that not a good idea) for £50 up wards and most of those only hold 0.6 of a cube.

you are spot on , trading standards are lurking in the bushes to make an example of a log trader, and yes the profit margen is not to bad at that price .
